Arte In Motion

Arte in Motion is a nonprofit arts and cultural organization founded to bring creativity, wellness, and return connection into everyday life for youth. We focus on bilingual, movement-based arts programs that invite Oregon youth and families to explore who they are through dance, music, and visual expression.  

Our approach is simple: we meet students where they are and center culture in how we teach and create. Through consistent after-school programming, we support academic engagement, positive behavior, and social-emotional growth. When young people move, create, and express themselves freely, they build confidence, focus, and a stronger sense of belonging. These are skills that carry directly into the classroom and beyond.

We work with schools, community organizations, and local artists to offer workshops, performances, and creative projects that reflect the voices and rhythms of Oregon’s diverse communities. Arte in Motion was born out of the belief that the arts are not a privilege, they are part of our collective wellbeing.

We see creativity as a form of leadership and healing, especially for students and families who have historically been left out of arts education. Our vision is to grow impactful programming that connects education, culture, and wellness through the arts, so every child and family in Oregon can feel proud of where they come from, inspired by what they create, and supported as whole learners inside and outside the classroom.
