Highway 26 or Highway 8 from Portland, and Hillsboro Airport eight miles east.
- From Portland 35-40 minute car ride west of the greater Portland Metro area.
- By road Highway 26 over the top, or Highway 8 through the valley.
By car
Under an hour from Portland, on either road.
- Highway 26 The faster of the two routes west out of the Portland metro area.
- Highway 8 The other route, on surface roads through the valley, which becomes the Tualatin Valley Highway through Cornelius.
- Drive time A 35 to 40 minute car ride west of the greater Portland metro area, and under 45 minutes from downtown Portland.
- To Hagg Lake About ten miles outside Cornelius, for a day of fishing or kayaking.
- Parking Ask at the Visitor Center and we will tell you where to leave the car.

The Tualatin Valley Highway runs straight through, and line 57 runs its length.

One bus line links both towns
TriMet line 57 runs the TV Highway from Forest Grove through Cornelius to Hillsboro and Beaverton, where it meets MAX.
