About

Griffin’s Place is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals ages 14 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) by providing meaningful opportunities to build independence, develop life skills, connect with others, and actively engage in their communities.

Through a variety of free and low-cost programs, Griffin’s Place offers social skills classes, cooking and life-skills activities, S.T.E.M. and educational enrichment, creative arts, adaptive sports and fitness, seasonal dances, game nights, and community-based activities. Our programs are designed to help individuals explore their interests, develop confidence and independence, strengthen relationships, and gain practical skills they can use in everyday life.

At Griffin’s Place, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to Explore. Experience. Engage. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive community where individuals with I/DD can develop their abilities, build friendships, try new things, and experience greater independence and belonging.
