Pulp Painting & Punchy Art

Valley Art will be hosting Punchy Art classes, from 4pm-7pm. Participants will arrange punched circles from different papers into a grid to make a fun and modern art piece.

Green Heron Book Arts will be teaching Pulp Painting classes from 12pm-7pm, at their store location. Participants will follow in the footsteps of the great artist David Hockney, who created large pulp paintings using metal shapes to form the pulp. They will make a base sheet of paper and then use metal cookie cutters to make shapes on their base. Participants will leave with a slightly damp pulp painting, that will continue to dry and soon be ready to hang on the wall.

After participants have completed their pieces, they can head over to A Framer's Touch, and pick out a mat board to display their artwork.
