In remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Forest Grove residents will come together on January 20th to advocate for racial justice with an afternoon of creativity, reflection and solidarity. Community members of all ages are invited to participate in the
2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Art March hosted by Western WashCo for Racial JusticeThe event will feature a recorded speech from Dr. King, alongside opportunities for attendees to collaborate on a public art piece honoring Dr. King's work and the civil rights movement. Participants will also have access to art supplies to create individual
posters and artwork, which they can carry during a community march around the block.
