Chili-Cook Off 

Fundraiser for Children’s Ministry

Event times 12:30-3:00pm 

Competition limited to 20 contestants

Deadline for entry is Oct 14, 2025

You may park on the 15th Ave side of the building by the back gym door there will be a sign (north side of the church)

Doors will open at 11:30am but you are not required to be here at 11:30am,(This is optional). However, you must be ready for judging by 12:15pm and ready to rock by 12:30pm when we open the doors.

Bring your chili already prepared and at the event we can only have the pots on warm.

Judging will start at 12:15pm, so your sample must be brought to the judge table before then. (we will provide the sample cups with your contestant number in advance)

Must always have a person to man the station throughout the event

Sampling cups and spoons will be provided

Sampling will start at 12:30pm

Chili must be made from scratch

NO pre-made store or restaurant bought chili please (honor system)

Bring a minimum of a cooked crock pot full of chili 

Chili needs to have a label with the name of the chili, spice level and either vegetarian, meat based or both on label (you will be provided with a contestant number)

Power will be provided pots will only be able to be on warm throughout the event
