About this event
American Legion Washington Post 2 hosts a candidate forum on the Oregon House District 29 and Forest Grove City Council races. The post invited Mayor Malynda Wenzl, all seven Forest Grove City Council candidates, and House District 29 candidates state Rep. Susan McLain and Brian Schimmel. The forum is set up around seven topic tables where attendees can meet the candidates and have a conversation. Topics include a Forest Grove Veterans Tribute Park, help for homeless veterans, whether Forest Grove needs a new police station, and data center expansion. Open to the public.
