The City of Cornelius’ Take Care of Cornelius Day is designed to expand disposal, reuse, and recycling opportunities while bringing the community together to care for our streets, parks, and walking paths. Join us for a fun and rewarding day of giving back, participate in activities like trash cleanup and flower planting, and connect with neighbors while making a positive impact.

Please note that hazardous waste is not accepted at City of Cornelius cleanup events. For hazardous waste disposal, Metro offers periodic neighborhood collection events across the greater Portland area on Saturdays during the spring and fall. You can also find helpful tips on how to properly dispose of common hazardous materials.
